So do we actually know the energy density is being put out by F1 fuel ? from the regulations I can find the RON rating has to be between 95 & 102, which are basically the same as what I can get for my road car, have no idea on the other ingredients that they may blend in there...
I've seen an energy density for 91 Octane Fuel to be lower than a 98 Octane fuel, so the blend must impact not only the energy density but the anti-knock properties also, so surely they could develop a fuel with 47MJ/kg but with the anti-knocking properties ?
