Dear FIA, if you read this, please pm me for a redesign of the Technical Regulations to avoid finger nose shapes for 2016! :-)

From the AMUS ticker:

Hülkenberg told us yesterday the soft tyre is at least 1 second faster than the medium tyre and the hard compound tyre is 1 second slower than the medium tyre. Hülkenbergs time of 1:36,889 was done on soft tyres, Alonso used the medium tyres for his 1:37,879 and Hamilton was on the hard ones when clocking his 1:37,908. This means Lewis' time looks even stronger, said Hülkenberg.

He got back to the pits on his own steam, so either he had a spin, lockup or stopped on track whilst talking to his crew?
Incorrect - Nico had to shut down the car on track, it was returned on a Truck (Pic attached to the tweet by Mercedes)

I think its more due to the Brake to wire adjustments and cooling down the breaks to go for hot lap

RED FLAG: Another problem for Mercedes brings out the second red flag of the day for Nico Rosberg. The German has stopped in the first sector.

Maybe due to asking more power form the engine? But beter to have these problems now then in Melbourne. By the way first issue was a failed sensor thats not even a minor issue. Lets wait and see what the second issue is that they are having now.
Irvine:"If you don't have a good car you can't win it, unless you are Michael or Senna. Lots of guys won in Adrian Newey's cars, big deal. Adrian is the real genius out there, there is Senna, there is Michael and there is Newey. They were the three great talents."

Be a dear and provide a link to a text, report or anything else, to back up your claims...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!
