Though, in my opinion, I think that Hamilton's defense was dirty and disrespectful to his team mate. He showed a lot more sense and respect to Button in his Mclaren days.
The chopping across Nico was extremely stupid and he could have destroyed a certain 1-2 finish for the team by taking Nico's front wing off and puncturing his rear tire leaving them both an entire lap to limp home to replace the wing and tire on the respective cars.
I thought Hamilton went over the line more than a couple of times today. They went into the 4th corner side by side 4 or 5 times and when Hamilton was on the inside he always pushed Nico out of the track to make sure he couldn't get a proper drive. It wasn't fair driving. Remember that Schumacher was like that too in his heyday (and even more so) and that -ruthlessness to say- got him to record titles, wins and poles. I'm not all for 'win at all costs' though.
I watched sky's (Natalie's) interview with Rosberg. At the end of it, Natalie said to him jokingly whether he thought of landing a left hook on Hamilton's stomach referring to the rather odd 'hugging' incident between Nico and Lewis after the race. Rosberg, with a
very serious face and sound i might say, replied by saying he was swearing all things to Hamilton so hard through the helmet that he was glad that the press guys couldn't hear any of it. That should sum up what he thought about Hamilton's driving today. Not to mention he complained (rightfully) over the radio in regards to the 'chopping' you mentioned when it happened.
Racecraft wise Hamilton was Heathcliff and Rosberg was Edgar Linton today.
