Yes, but only the next one. However, taking the penalty now and next race reduces the chance for both failures and penalties later on in the season.

I dont even think the rain will help lewis as rain closes the gap to the other teams plus those fresh tyres go to waste. Though the common trend this season is for the rain to come after the race. Mercs reliability this stage of the season is a concern given all the in season testing and milage over 10 races.

Engine count doesn't go like that, the fourth engine they use will be engine number 4, plus grid penaltys carrie over.

- 0,5 s? Not much of a competition
- Another bad session for "future stars" Magnussen and Kvyat. Makes you realise this description only exists in fake media marketing world but has no basis in reality on track.
- Alonso 0,5-0,7s behind Williams/Red Bull, they can't completely blame engine for that, did he have a bad lap? McLaren too high (FRIC effect)

I think ROS may disagree with you about Merc reliability.
If consistently being 7/10ths faster than you is a "mind game", then yes Jenson, Lewis was playing "games" with you.

Bad lap? Please...
A samurai does not have bad laps. If the time he takes for a lap is too long, the time was too fast.

Edit: May be taken offensive if I directly answer your question, don't want to be called hater again...but i try to say it without directly saying he had a bad lap:
The improvement in S3 was more than 0.2sec. S2 was the same as in the first attempt and S1 was slightly better than his first try. Depending on how others improved in S1 and S2, I would say the time was not the friend of the samurai in S1 and S2 in his last attempt...in S3 the time was with him again. So maybe the time is about 0.4-0.6sec wrong.

Not celebrating the race, just this comment

Magnussen to start from pit lane.

If Hamilton was to start from pit lane also, how would they decide who is head of the queue?

Mag due to him getting to Q3?

I am guessing, but I'd have thought Mag would be at the front because of Q3, then Ham due to championship position then maldonado. The question is, would you start from the pit lane or from 20th, you lose 10 seconds from the pitlane and one car to pass, or start 20th and risk a DNF/nose damage/puncture from a T1 incident?

I would think Magnussen will be leading the queue due to lapping in Q3.

I heard it is going to rain mid race tomorrow?
That is the only hope for Lewis, start from pit lane with a wet setup
Gonna be fun race if it rains, otherwise it is going to be a procession

It's funny. I'm abroad, so no chance to watch QF and as i opened autosport.com 10 minutes ago, i half expected to see a hamilton incident of some sort on the frontpage....

I'm simply stunned... This is getting ridiculous. At this rate, i'm actually happy we will have double points at the last race, though at this rate, it will hardly matter.

Part of me feels we are being robbed, either by pure ramdomness or deliberately of what should be an epic battle. At the moment, i dont even want to watch the race (eventhough watching hamilton fight to the front will be epic).

:(
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II
