Yes, but only the next one. However, taking the penalty now and next race reduces the chance for both failures and penalties later on in the season.gray41 wrote:Wouldnt that result in further penalty in the next GP?

Engine count doesn't go like that, the fourth engine they use will be engine number 4, plus grid penaltys carrie over.turbof1 wrote:Can they ask the FIA that they want to put in the 6th engine in already? They probably can't, but now would be a good time.
I think ROS may disagree with you about Merc reliability.matt_b wrote:I dont even think the rain will help lewis as rain closes the gap to the other teams plus those fresh tyres go to waste. Though the common trend this season is for the rain to come after the race. Mercs reliability this stage of the season is a concern given all the in season testing and milage over 10 races.

Bad lap? Please...iotar__ wrote: - Alonso 0,5-0,7s behind Williams/Red Bull, they can't completely blame engine for that, did he have a bad lap?

+1 =D> What was very attractive about this forum was it's technical insight.....what has become increasingly unattractive (tiresome) is the juvenile tabloid-esque comments of some.turbof1 wrote:In light of recent history and complaints from members, race threads policy will be strickened. I am guessing, but I'd have thought Mag would be at the front because of Q3, then Ham due to championship position then maldonado. The question is, would you start from the pit lane or from 20th, you lose 10 seconds from the pitlane and one car to pass, or start 20th and risk a DNF/nose damage/puncture from a T1 incident?gray41 wrote:http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115156 (paid site after so many views)
Magnussen to start from pit lane.
If Hamilton was to start from pit lane also, how would they decide who is head of the queue?
Mag due to him getting to Q3?
I would think Magnussen will be leading the queue due to lapping in Q3.gray41 wrote:http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/115156 (paid site after so many views)
