You are right, my remark could be misunderstood.prince wrote: If you don't like, you report it by hitting that "Report" button, but do not generalize the whole forum with negative remark.
Looked indeed a bit strange. As if he didn't even try to turn in. Didn't lock the brakes either.Shrieker wrote:I sure would love to have a look at Rosberg's mistakes from the on board cam where he ran on in the first chicane.
He did lock the brakes slightly, but decided not to try too hard.henra wrote:Looked indeed a bit strange. As if he didn't even try to turn in. My first thought was that his first missed braking point was just testing the water to see what he needed to do. The second one was done just to let Hamilton by and he knew exactly what and when to do it. 2 lockups in the same place and then after Hamilton passes,he never had another issue in turn 1.WilliamsF1 wrote:Looked like the NR LH battle was fixed
I thought it too. It just seemed strange that only one car would miss that turn, and not only once, but twice. (Not counting Kvyat's brake failure.)ecapox wrote:Not sure if I 100% believe what I just wrote, but I thought it.
I think he locked the rears slightly, twice, and didn't try to turn in with that.henra wrote:Looked indeed a bit strange. As if he didn't even try to turn in. The first time I could understand but the second time he was fighting for the lead and thus the win. Was surprised that he didn't even try to make it.matt_b wrote:Nico locked his brakes in both instances but he was smart and prevented a flat spot and another pit stop so early into the stint, its as simple as that.
Not one of triumph? A one-two in Ferrari's back yard look?WilliamsF1 wrote:Maybe this was the punishment Merc served him, let Lewis pass without a fight.
Agreed before the race.
Did you see Toto's face after that it was not one of winning but one of power.
