Don`t fool yourself people. ferrari has a different fp program and mercs are using strat 6 at best. Wait until the end of q3 and everything will be back to business as usual with merc on top followed by red bull, ferrari and williams.

Daniel Ricciardo's pace is looking very ominous! He might actually win this thing!

Williams look slow! Otherwise agree. Maclaren seem best of the rest based on FP2.

I found this very interesting, I wonder how much Lewis's pace will slow down when he tries to extend his stint.

Ominous??? Despite knowing that Merc has been hiding their race pace in FPs?

I was going to say... Hamilton looked faster on the long runs, although his run was slightly shorter, his times were faster all the way through, and I'm guessing wouldn't have known about the weight change from the off so wouldn't have been driving harder knowing it was a shorter stint.

Would have said getting 'downforce' rather than silly! Lineup more likley attributed to increasing DF levels running from highest speeds to slowest, as it is not a power track.

If vettel swapped engines with verge he would be 5kmh faster!

No wonder he has struggled so much this season.

So in order to have any kind of straight line speed you have to have a car so slick it runs 1.3s off the pace. epic

yeah, it's a total coincidence 7 out of 8 mercedes powered cars are fastest trough ST.

Hamilton is using the wrong gears in my view, car is all over the place due to wheelspin

Rosberg is very clean and is almost a gear higher in every corner. Think hamiltons forgotten the ratios are shorter now too!
