That is the proof that the thing that needs changing are the double yellow waved flag rules to force drivers to really slow down.vall wrote:right after Bianchi, Eriksson was driving as fast as Bianchi.
Yellow, Double waved: Reduce your speed, do not overtake and be prepared to change direction or stoppiast9 wrote:That is the proof that the thing that needs changing are the double yellow waved flag rules to force drivers to really slow down.vall wrote:right after Bianchi, Eriksson was driving as fast as Bianchi.
That short sequence when he cleaned his helmet was one of the first things I remembered right after the crash...Manoah2u wrote:i'm brought to tears on seeing that car slam straight into that caterpillar![]()

that is insane, i've NEVER seen something like this, ever. I'd say singlehandedly this is the worst accident i've seen well, obviously since senna and ratzenberger in F1 but the impact looks even more horrifying than senna's to be honest, man,
that was just inches away from decapicitation. A slam into the wheel of that truck would have been instant fatal, too.
how on earth wasn't there a safety car for this crash was beyond me straight after Sutil's crash......
but indeed how did jules speed off straight into there, Sutil stated he went off similar as he, so i'd suppose that would remove the possibility he made a 360 degree spin headfirst into the recovery vehicle.
My god that 7-ton caterpillar isn't just lifted up but slammed aside, the entire top crash structure and airbox is just completely sheered off. How on earth did he survive this?
i did not imagine the impact to be this insanely brutal. Maria de Villota died from 'lesser'. I can't believe this.
I'm afraid to say this but we have just been stolen an upcoming F1 great in the form of Jules Bianchi. I can't believe I remembered him sitting cleaning his helmet after first shutdown and now he's.....well.....essentially, gone.![]()

whatever the outcome, he'll never ever race again, i think he can be lucky if he can communicate ever in his 'life' again.
whoever tries to say F1 today is for wussies and doesn't hold danger can just suck it now. my god this is insane.
i'm.......in total shock......![]()
