Im afraid you are wrong:wesley123 wrote:Even if the color is that much different, the high upward slope on the tub, the lack of ducting under the tub, and the lack of a colored part on the inside pillar give it away that it is not the RBR.

That clearly are the turning vanes from the STR. Like said, the lack of the blue color on the inside of the pillar, the large upward angle from the tub to the nose. the lack of ducting under the tub.
Yup. That struck me as well all season long. The aero development on this years cars seemed to have stopped right before it even started. Redbull was always among the masters of in season development This year: Nada.gandharva wrote:So boring... quite nothing has happened at this car for a long time this season. Next year's car better be good then.gandharva wrote:So boring... quite nothing has happened at this car for a long time this season. I bet they are already working on the 2015 car for a long time.
Sorry, but that's just incorrect. RB10 was most definitely the best chassis on the grid in the first few races when we had a rain affected quali and then held it's own long into the 2nd half on the season despite apparent lack of developments.marcush. wrote:the lack of obvious development may as well be the indication of just how much Adrian Newey was driving the ball in the years gone.
With the itch gone people may stand back and refine and rethink more at home and not push through as quick as possible.
Hands down RB10 is a nice car but it is not the class of the field - TR ,not using the same design as the big brother was sometimes just as quick or quicker...
This is something I can't understand. If the same statement would have been made last year, it was perfectly understandable. When regulations are staying same, except for front wing, there is loads of learning that you can do by concentrating on current car. There wasn't any development seen on Red Bull in the whole of second half of this year. They didn't made progress in Singapore, Japan and Russia, which are all the tracks of their liking. There is not one 2015 part, that we have come across that Red Bull have tested on current car, whereas teams like Ferrari and Lotus have done it recently. Unless Renault is coming up with a totally different engine and it requires Red Bull to redesign their current car. Yeah, then it is meaningless to concentrate on current car. Track testing isn't available in abundance and it is such an important aspect of any development and when you do not see a lot of intent here, its hard to believe that next year they will come out with some kind of magic.Juzh wrote: It really seems full focus has gone to developing RB11 long ago.
