After browsing the latest pics from Brazil, I've notice the winggly slot gap is back and the serated end plates after they weren't used at the US Grand Prix seen here

http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/wp-content/u ... /magn1.jpg

Any thoughts as to why the updated rear wing (wiggly slot gap) wasn't used in the US and why it is back for Brazil?
Could this be one of the reasons why mclaren fell back abit last weekend?
Could if be a case of mclaren not understanding what's going on?
Or am I reading too much into it and it's purely track related? If so why?
Just a fan's point of view

Too narrow be a part of the seat.. Aslo, it looks like its made of metal. Aren't Driver's seats also made out of Carbon Fiber.

It is not a Part of the Seat, it IS the Seat. It is quite a distance behind the Nose, the Parts left of it are the Sidepods.
What makes it silver is a Heat Coating.

Oh yes Magnussens Sparks were pretty cool. Maybe a little overkill even.

According to Sky, McLaren will be running a B-spec car in FP1 at Abu Dhabi. This should be the reported Large Prodromou Update Package.

So the only car with the new front wing will be that B car?
