Just for clarity, because some people don't know what happened, I'll quote Richard once more (as that prevents repeating myself).

Bans are due to repeated cycles of mod interventions, several temp bans and ongoing dialogue. Our hard limits are personal abuse or aggression towards other members, especially repeated aggression via PMs amounting to vendettas.
It's saying enough is enough after multiple cycles. It's the realisation that if someone is repeatedly saying that they don't like this place then perhaps we'd better call it a day and move on.
By now, I assume all who wanted to have their say have had plenty of time.
