Ferrari are didging the endplates, or rather the concepts behind them, they were using since 2012. It's interesting because I feel nowadays there are 2 general concepts in F1 concerning endplate/wing element designs: the red bull concept, and the mercedes concept. Ferrari switched from the former to the latter.Pilatus wrote:Abu Dhabi F-14T:Harsha wrote:Is the Front wing same as they used in Yas Marina 2014?

Main plane is pretty much the same, flaps are same (SF-15T has additional element on the rearmost flap), three element cascades are the same...
What is not the same are (spell check please ) the endplates.
There is no strake on top of endplate with that slit in it, and all the wing flaps are curved all the way down to the footplate.

On F-14T rearmost wing flaps were merged with the inner side of the endplate.
