Looks like RedBull are going oval racing.FrukostScones wrote:
I don't see anybody stating this. I think general consens is, that RB11 is a classic RBR evolution car. In terms of aero and packaging the evolution seems quite big considering the visible changes we can see until now.trinidefender wrote:Many people are remarking that RedBull has changed many of their aerodynamic design philosophy's for this year as a result of needing to go radical compared to previous years because of Mercedes performance last year. This may be true but personally I don't really believe so.
Me neither. It just looks like a somewhat better implementation of the same basic concept as last year.gandharva wrote: I don't see anybody stating this.
We will only see if those 'massive' improvements will be enough.gandharva wrote:Improvements are massive - if it's true and the ICE still has same cooling requirements than last year. Maybe you should look at some of the pics in this thread and compare to the ones from last year.
On the other hand, Mercedes packaging is quite the same than last year. Probably because they focused on reliability more than anything else.
McLaren seems to have a RB10 B-spec this year in terms of aero. But one man does not make up a whole team and the Honda engine still has a long way to go in 2015.
