great look at how tight that rear end is. is that similar to Jerez or has it even been made tighter?

Looks the same to me. Don't expect (many) new Parts in the next 4 Days, even if it's hard to not take every Picture apart and search for tiny bits.
We'll have enough of that at the last Test i guess.

Well if they do it today they can run whenever they want tomorrow and/or react if anything isn't ok. Just saves some Time / Trouble in the Morning.

Edit: Does anyone know whether Mclaren is running a Carbon fibre gearbox housing or the conventional titanium case?

Carbon gearbox housing are seriously old the first McLaren to have this was the MP4-17 in 2002.

i think most cars will undergo this tomorrow or some other day during BCN1 test but since Mclaren was there for the last two day they probably took the opportunity and did it today.

AmuS reports the Engine Sounds different that the Jerez one. Would be interesting if that's just Software related or part of the apparent massive Update to the Engine.

There's a hole on the front wing end plate, quite a big one, I've never seen one there before nor has anyone pointed one out.
Is it a new thing? Or have others been doing it too? Don't tell me red bull have
