Scuderia Ferrari SF15-T

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I thought that BBW was also directly controlling calipers :O.
My mistake then :)

Quite an interesting highlight about the new badge boards mounted in Barcelona, with a hidden double cut/fence on the the connection to the floor.

They are using the larger hot air outlet around the exhaust

It was there in Spain. Seems to be part of the new package

Kinda surprised they reintroduced the larger cooling around the exhaust - is it really hotter in Monaco than it was in China?

Top speed isn't a priority, downforce is, so I'm guessing it's more to do with that than actual cooling. Or maybe you do need more cooling since the average speeds are pretty low, Sepang has some slow speed stuff but it always leads to high speed stuff of which there is plenty of, in Monaco you're going slowly for half of the lap.

Yep, lower airspeeds, still developing the same amount of power/heat = more cooling needed.
