It's not rocket science for them, if they see the other teams they are racing go out into the pitlane they should to, then there is no risk it's gonna give the others an advantage.WaikeCU wrote:Montreal is always a venue for exciting races with lots of surprises. If Rosberg drives anything like in Barcelona... . Based on small sample of tyre combinations and results - slight advantage Hamilton. I refuse to check if fuel consumption matters a lot in Canada.gray41 wrote:If Lewis' drives anything like Monaco he'll be unbeatable.
We can't know about Barcelona for sure because Lewis was fighting Vettel the entire race due to his clutch issues. Had he not been racing the Ferrari, it could have been a Lewis win for all we know.iotar__ wrote:If Rosberg drives anything like in Barcelona... . Their brakes wouldn't have failed without the ERS failure. I think you mean they need to be careful with their hybrid system temperatures. But it wasn't specific to the Canada race, they just had some new software which failed. It wont be repeated.Vasconia wrote:One of my favourite tracks. Mercedes will be the favourites here again but lets not forget what happened last year, so they must be very careful with the brakes. Anyway I would like to see Ferrari putting them under a great pressure, especially in the straights. But Arrivabene has said that the slow corners dont suit Ferrari, I can see this point but I am not in Ferrari so he must be right.
But Canada is specifically hard with those parts so we cant be sure that it wont be repeated.J0rd4n wrote:Their brakes wouldn't have failed without the ERS failure. He is probably going to have DEFCON 1 levels of focus, after the last race.SiLo wrote:Feel like Hamilton will carry the Monaco speed over to here and just be on it from the word go.
Why don't you think Perez will finish in the top 10? I think Canada is a good track for him.Vasconia wrote:One of my favourite tracks. I love the combination of straights and slow corners, PURE FORMULA 1!!!

Poor Alonso and Button, they are going to suffer SO MUCH...
My prediction:
1. Hamilton
2. Rosberg
3. Vettel
4. Raikkonen
5. Bottas
6. Massa
7. Hulkenberg
8. Ricciardo
9. Ericsson
10. Nasr
If Mercedes has the same problems Vettel could win....
I reckon those running behind them (which is usually everyone) would have time to wait til the Mercedes pass and then run out, particularly if there's any kind of gapJ0rd4n wrote:It's not rocket science for them, if they see the other teams they are racing go out into the pitlane they should to, then there is no risk it's gonna give the others an advantage.WaikeCU wrote:Montreal is always a venue for exciting races with lots of surprises. Don´t be too pesimistic yet, Alonso said they have a lot of potential to unlock even without using tokens, so hopefully they will use some of that potential here... they should at least if that´s trueVasconia wrote:Poor Alonso and Button, they are going to suffer SO MUCH...
