There isn't a strong leader inside McLaren at the moment, like ex say what pat symonds is doing at Williams right now.Vasconia wrote:Ferrari has improved a lot this year and I think they will improve in the future. Traditionally they didn't win their championships with revolutionary cars, instead of this they made great cars with a continuous evolution. This is what they are doing and I think the 2015 car is a very good base.
Mclaren is trying something new and revolutionary but this could be an enormous failure not only in 2015 but also in the following years. The last time Mclaren won a WC in its own right was in 1999 boys. Dont forget that the 2008 car was basically a continuation of the 2007 car and the main ideas of this car came from Italy.
he was avg this year to be honest, and his outclass of Kimi is very mild compare to outclass of Kimi last year!ChrisF1 wrote:Yes, his 6 podiums in 8 races, win in Malaysia and outclassing of Kimi has showed he's a terrible driver without those things.ajnšpric_pumpa wrote:off-throttle and blow diffuser to aid rear DF is gone so Vettel title prospect is gone whit it.
The stagnation shown when the regulations prevented them from upgrading the engine...ajnšpric_pumpa wrote:

it is much more "mbarasment" the stagnation Ferrari has showed from first to last race in 2014 than the risk and progress Honda has showed from race 1 to now in 2015.
Just a question, how did it pan out for Honda last time they were in F1? How are they doing in Indy against Chevy? Were Ferrari flattered by Alonso or were they shown in bad light by Raikkonen? Does that apply to this years Vettel as well? Lastly, what progress? Too many question and you are already nabbing at WC.ajnšpric_pumpa wrote:
Yes,Honda dep is better, this is their first year whit this engines and they will catch Ferrari when it matters and that will not be this year as this year is gone for both of them,Mercedes is champion 2015 is over already and in 2016 Mclaren will beat Ferrari.
And what has Ferrari showed in the last few years? were they not flattered by FA performance? what results have Massa and Kimi do in the last years that are better than Mclaren?

Everybody id intiteld to it's opinion but over next few years Honda-Prodrumou-Alonso looks a hell of alot better chance to beat Merc than Ferrari-Alisson-Vettel does to me.

Other than that when the red bull became dominant (largely because of the tyre change) they scored 9 consecutive victories - NOT 9 consecutive 1-2s (only 3 were 1-2s). So one person completely and utterly maximised their potential and the only other direct comparison was not even remotely close.dans79 wrote:evered7 wrote:Merc 1-3 split by Vettel. His late 2013 form had a lot more to do with the tire change over the summer break, than anything special he did.
Apparently his performances were so mesmerizing that a few thought he had traction control in his car . Given the equipment to his liking, he certainly can do a job to get the wins. Tires or traction, that was a scintillating season for him.dans79 wrote:evered7 wrote:Merc 1-3 split by Vettel. He did what any upper percentile driver should have done given the best car on the grid, and a second/third tier teammate.evered7 wrote: Apparently his performances were so mesmerizing that a few thought he had traction control in his car . 4 wins before the tire change as well and 9 successive wins to stamp his authority.
Interesting that only one other driver has ever achieved that though (and with Indy it's debatable for Ascari); think that's also a bit unfair on Webber (and hence Seb).dans79 wrote:He did what any upper percentile driver should have done given the best car on the grid, and a second/third tier teammate.evered7 wrote: Apparently his performances were so mesmerizing that a few thought he had traction control in his car .
