I think Mclaren could be trying to brand themselves with the likes of Ferrari. Ever since Ferrari came into f1 they have run the red, although slightly different shades from time to time but virtually the same and people don't complain about that.

That is because red is an interesting color. There is a lot to work with - slightly different hues, luminances, etc. Grey is grey and that's it. If they had a sponsor with color that might make things better.

That's just based of personal opinion, id prefer a nice metallic grey/gun metal grey anyday over red.

Glad to see the lower red has been removed with the new nose.

It looks like the livery was designed with the new nose in mind and the second swosh was thrown on to add a bit of colour to the long nose.

PS, Alonso's new Aero Kit with only the single swoosh on the nose looks much better than the old nose on Jensen's car.
