Ahh, I see, he set a much faster Q1 lap than pole lap.

Pole was done with race fuel, or am I wrong?

Race start fuel, yes. I forgot that 2003 had friday qualifying sessions entirely.

You think they can go faster? To me they look to be struggling hard to find the lap. 1:08.5ish appears to be all they have.

Which seems more than enough.

It doesn't really seem like "toying with" anyone though. You're not toying with someone if you're throwing everything at it trying to keep ahead.

Heh, given that both ended in the gravel - yep, definitely no "toying" going on there.

That was hilarious, what a bizarre end to the Q3 session.

Yep, weirdest end to a session I've seen in a while.

Truly bizarre end to a Qualifying.

I dont understand how he can struggle so much for two days, then just somehow manage to nail one single lap in Q3 out of all sessions and basically steal the pole.

What I meant was how ferrari was always there or thereabouts in FP1 2 and 3, but in the end ended up exactly where we expected them to be.

Also, rosberg and hamilton can thank W06 for dragging their asses over the finish line, otherwise they're toast. Mistakes galore.

Any issues with Rosberg failing to return to pits?
