there was just something wrong about last years race, maybe the camera positions didnt show the track in its best light- too many flags/poles getting in the way for one thing. Most exciting moment was lewis' avoidance whether intentional or not of Putin.

it was way more exciting than the actual sochi race. i'm expecting the same this year.
Best post of the thread so far :D
So I wasn't the only one who fell asleep watching it, good to know! In fact I was so bored by it, it was the only race I didn't finish watching all year!

I can only hope that the softer tire compounds liven things up this year.

Practice One has been delayed by 30 minutes due to a hydraulic spill occuring during the morning Sochi local time. Gotta love Russia!
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

in case anyone is wondering; It's live on BBC Two (hasn't started yet as noted above).
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Perhaps Putin is busy bombing ISIS and this is an excuse.

Due to this delay FP1 will have 30 minutes less, bad news for the teams.

Was that track wet this morning? I haven't seen much of practice since starting work.

so out there was about 13 degrees. Really dark also. Set-up wise it's gonna be interesting. If it's sunny tomorrow there will be a lot of cars on track in fp3.

Bottas managed to get somehow a slow puncture

Yes, it seems that there is a chance of some showers during the race. That could be great!!!

I second what it has been said about Alonso, he should remain silent...

The underfloor pics of Mercedes W06 has been the only interesting thing today.
The cheapest sort of pride is national pride, every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud adopts, as a last resource, pride in the nation to which he belongs; thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority.
