Lewis Hamilton has taken victory at the United States Grand Prix, a result that was enough to seal his third F1 World Championship. Nico Rosberg made it another one-two finish for Mercedes AMG F1 while Sebastian Vettel finished third for Ferrari.
My favourite modern track alongside Malaysia and probably the best Tilke work to date.
Sadly I dont expect anything extraordinary. Once again a 1-2 for Mercedes(I hope Nico can do it this time) and probably Vettel, or a Williams if they have the day.
This track with rain could be epic but I dont expect it being Austin.
My favourite new track too, and one of my favourites anycase
I love tracks with uphills and downhills, not sure if this comes from my MX period but I find flat tracks boring generally. Best place to build a track is a slope! then you can get so different corners even if they´re exactly same radius I find shocking how most tracks are on completely flat terrains. That´s the best way to build a boring track with no personality
Even a braking in a straight can be really challenging if it´s on a change of slope, let alone a corner, or a braking while cornering.
Force India will probably finish the last races by taking alot of Risk since they have a decent margin from Lotus and taking risks they can increase it. So I bet they show up in the next GP and the following GPS with more aggressive team tactics for both Drivers. I'm sure they will aim to be in the TOP 5 with an emphasis on maximising every Race for both drivers.
I'm eager to watch Hulk and Perez. I have to say I'm a huge Fan.
Team Honda hopefully has focused on next year so next year we can see a fight from them.
It's hard being a McLaren Fan... but nice to see My favorite drivers do well. Hulk and Perez.
I'm also a Hamilton Fan but I want to see what he can do if he had real competition.
I wonder who would win if they had Vettel driving instead of Ross.
Or if they had Alonso.... Because I am a Hamilton fan I would like to see him have a partner who can actually beat him next to him. Not a natural number 2 driver. Ross just can't beat him.....
Appears I'm in a minority of 1 then of being apathetic towards cota. Interesting enough track to drive on F1 games, but the racing in all categories has been generally very poor since it opened.

The track is begging for supersofts. The race might be a total pendemonium but it would be more entertaining at least.

Mercedes have never had back to back races where one of their cars retire in this era, so statistically, no.
Also, I think Lewis is getting his 4th and final engine. Also I would assume with 2 weeks between races the cars have gone back to Brackley for an extensive round of maintenance.

I have three scenarios that wouldn't surprise me...
A.) Lewis DNF
B.) Lewis wins and seals the WDC by both Mercedes finishing in 1-2.
C.) Lewis 2nd to Rosberg
It's hard to predict. I don't see a Ferrari splitting the Mercedes somehow, so I think bar any technical issues, it's going to be a 1-2 Mercedes. Now, it's all gloves off for Nico and admittedly, he's been doing well the last two races, beating Lewis on 'ultimate pace' twice in a row. If we look at last year, Nico beat Lewis by a massive 4 tenths. It might not be that representative because Lewis suffered quite a bit with locking up in the braking zones, but none-the-less, Nico prevailed. On a track that Lewis loves. Yet, Lewis prevailed in the race, overtaking Nico on lap 24 on the main straight in a close move.
So, I wouldn't be surprised if Nico somehow gets pole, but I think the race could be very close. The question is; If Nico is ahead, how hard will he defend knowing that losing position will ultimately mean he is out of WDC race? Will Lewis know that and perhaps, depending on how tricky it would be to attempt a pass settle for 2nd?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II #Team44 supporter

If Lewis race pace will be so much better, he will definitely try to pass Nico.

A) That would open up the championship somewhat. The gaps would be down to 48 points ( for both ROS and VET if VET comes second), with 75 points available.
B) That wraps it up for HAM.
C) If VET was able to finish third the championship would still be open, 75 left and the difference being 66 (ROS) and 69 (VET)
I expect Lewis to take his 3rd title here. Such a lovely track. I was at the first two races and I remember when Hamilton in the McLaren chased down Vettel and passed him to take the victory. I love the Ss section. This track is such a huge improvement over the Indy track, there is no comparison. I also look for Honda to make a step improvement with their PU in Alonso's car. Maybe a points finish for him on merit?
