Yup, looks like it might stand out more!

You both could be right,
but to me it looks like in the 1st photo it's just the primer coat that is on the car, you can see very faint black lines along the front of the car and along the outer edge, as if it's been block sanded


In my 2nd photo, that also appeared in the video, shows a part of the car painted and being dried, in what looks to be siliver.

shows them spraying (what I believe) is a tinted clear coat.
either way, I look forward to seeing the final outcome

The nose cannot be designed any higher than it was with the W06. What Mercedes could do however, is raise the front monocoque/chassis a la Red Bull (RB11) and Ferrari (SF15-T).

The W07 may have a different looking nose to the W06, but it won't be a higher nose as the regulations simply don't allow for this any more.

Yes, I think it is more likely to be a wing mirror, due to the more pronounced edges.
