Is it my eyes or is DRS open while going in/out of the box?
Or is it only the angle of the rear wing?

You can see the airbox here. Looks like roughly the same size as the W06 to me...

Judging by where the airbox fin appears to end it looks like quite a high, narrow rear end too?

If I had to guess, I'd say they slightly enlarged the engine airbox intake so to create cooling ducts from that entrance rather than those from the sidepods, all of which appears to be in the interest of making tighter sidepods, which they appeared to pull off.

Lessons from STR it seems, some of cooling must've moved to the middle of the car freeing sidepod space.

The airbox and cooling inlet is much wider and much bigger than that of the W06.
