He's a billionaire, even if it's the end of his life he's going to be spending it on mega-yachts and private jets and mansions in a world of luxury you can only dream of; that's a hell of a way to spend your final years. How many people of his age survive more than a couple of years past retiring? Surely at 85 he sees that as soon as he is ousted and loses his motivation/work/purpose he will go downhill fast.
