Because it is an ongoing thing since two years now...some McLaren fans are telling since two years in this forums, that one has to wait to judge the McLaren car.McG wrote:Sasha I think it's too early to even say there is a problem be it chassis or PU. Button admitted they made 2 wrong decisions on the tyres so that's why Button finished poorly.
Why come in with a BS comment like that so early in the season?
I thought the same! In for an explanation of the fluid color.McG wrote:What was all that gold liquid coming from Alonsos radiators when he crashed?
I didn't expect there to be only clear water in radiators but it's an interesting colour.
Here is a good sequence of pictures showing the stuff...

They have a very Loose car! Could come from low downforce ,aero balance , suspension problems or all!
I posted it on other forums and I agree with Sasha. Could be that is bad with SS more and that was a wrong strategy to put them on as with M Button seemed solid. But on SS they were very bad. Look at the first stint Alonso was slowing the cars behind him including Button on S and later Button after completing some 5-6 laps on SS (why the hell did they put SS on - did they have to?) and getting past the Force India started to loose time - up until the -4 sec/lap region before making a pit stop for M.McG wrote:I did watch race and I saw Button once getting "Loose" on the exit of the last corner. That doesn't constitute data from a whole race.
It's the first race of the season so give it a rest.

It seems that the ideal is fully integrated chassis and PU development, but that is only possible with big independent manufacturers like Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault. They are Hondas premium client, but by no means Hondas "factory" team if I am getting it right.
