Don't knock Gutierrez, I think he's better than people give him credit for. He certainly has the right work ethic. I don't think he's any worse than Nasr, Ericsson, or Palmer.

Even Alonso said it wasn't Gutierrez' fault. Gutierrez may be a sponsor-driver, and may not be good enough to be in F1, but I haven't seen anything to make me blame him for that crash.

All the stewards decisions in one place along with all the engine changes etc.

Ok, why is everybody knocking Gutierrez?! It's not like he's been in competitive cars in his career. Sauber '13-'14 weren't very good. Give him this year to prove himself then judge his skills.

starting from the pit lane for a confusion on what car had to stop for the red light to get weighted that is crazy
Why do they even care? it is practice, not qualification or race

Are the penalties for failing to attach a wheel correctly only issued during the race?

I wonder if the Mercs will beat the all time fastest ever lap tonight in qualifying (1’29.527 Mark Webber, 2005, fourth practice), or the pole record (1:29,848 Fernando Alonso 2005) but they will probably get close.

If they do I'm sure the whole debate about the need for faster cars will light up again, much to the delight of Mercedes who are opposed the the idea...

Lewis is SWAGbagging. All those ridiculous clothes, chains and earrings are adding fair amount of weight to his W07.

There are rumors on twitter that Mercedes is going to bring major update in China to make car better suit Hamilton : gold chain around airbox, diamond studs in rear-view mirrors and "Still I Rise" on the sidepods.

In 2005, as far as I remember, they did it with the fuel for the start of the race already in the car, not running on fumes.

And that "much to the delight of Mercedes who are opposed to the idea" makes me sad. That system of letting the teams decide which way the rules are gonna go is ruining the sport, you have a bunch of people trying to make the rules suit their teams' best interests, so "the sport may become ---, as long as I'm winning".
That needs to change that ASAP.

Does anyone know of a site which updates the remaining tyre allocations for each driver after each session?

I think LH is laughing all the way to the bank. At the moment he is just driving around collecting his dosh.

Agreed. But any change must also remove Ferrari's long standing right of veto. So long as one team has such a veto the sport as a whole is unable to move in the right direction.

Oh poor you. I guess this is the frustration of not possessing any of that, you yourself? Get a life man. This is Racing forum, not a Page 3. Keep the BS out, please.
