and he admitted it before the podium ceremony.Sevach wrote:Kvyat did make a back out or crash move.
Even if that were correct... what does it have to do with the topic being discussed?jknights wrote:You mean just like Vettel used to do when he drove for RedBull.Sevach wrote:Kvyat did make a back out or crash move.
Good start but all starts are variable with the new rules, next race it could be another shocker with damage into turn one for the 4th race in a row, takes the spice off pole but that's a good thing.GPR-A wrote:And to his delight, he should be happy with the launch he got. He passed 3 cars within few meters and actually a much better start than Nico's.J0rd4n wrote:Well it's a case of banking on a safety car to make up the time lost from the pit lane or banking on a decent start and avoiding contact. I'd say the latter is more controlled by himself than the other option, unfortunately today a racing incident occurred.Shrieker wrote:It wasn't his fault that Hamilton had to start dead last, but let's face it, he's not good at risk management. Had he started from the pits, he'd be around 10th after the safety car, and with no damage to the car would've finished the race in 2nd easy.
I'd seriously like to find him and force feed him a knuckle sandwich!RZS10 wrote: Kwjat: "But I am on the podium so it's alright. You are on the podium as well."
Chassis improvements of this level are completely unheard of.gandharva wrote: Most of it is coming from the chassis. Marko confirmed in SKY DE interview after race. They are able to run low downforce setups and still be competetive in corners. Also the car is a bomb when it comes to braking. Nontheless the Renault PU also improved, but not in peak power, but driveability. Better peak power will come in Canada or maybe earlier (also Markos words).
No doubt the Red Bull is good and hopefully the next PU upgrade helps them move even forward. But as for today's race is concerned, Rosberg passed Ricciardo like he was never there. So, Rosberg had no issues following and overtaking that Red Bull and I think the Ferraris would have done the same too if that was a normal race. Vettel ran for most part with a damaged front wing, but still ended up ahead of Kvyat. I don't think the chassis is equalizing a 50BHP sort of deficit. It might do to the extent of 20 or atmost 30 BHP.FoxHound wrote:Chassis improvements of this level are completely unheard of.gandharva wrote: Most of it is coming from the chassis. Kinda like Mercedes adding an extra 100bhp from Bahrain to China.
People used to complain about the aggressive style of Vettel when he drove for Red Bull. Now someone else drives in this style Vettel complains.Sevach wrote:Even if that were correct... what does it have to do with the topic being discussed?jknights wrote:You mean just like Vettel used to do when he drove for RedBull.Sevach wrote:Kvyat did make a back out or crash move.
Seriously
I think this is called sarcasm.dans79 wrote:I'd seriously like to find him and force feed him a knuckle sandwich!RZS10 wrote: Kwjat: "But I am on the podium so it's alright. You are on the podium as well."
Overtaking a car with a puncture is surely a sign of a totally superior car.GPR-A wrote:No doubt the Red Bull is good and hopefully the next PU upgrade helps them move even forward. But as for today's race is concerned, Rosberg passed Ricciardo like he was never there.
Fully agreed!Juzh wrote:kvy-vet-rai is a fist lap racing incident imo and vettel should drop it now.
Sounds like RedBull back to form - claiming any improvements are only ever car related.FoxHound wrote:Chassis improvements of this level are completely unheard of.gandharva wrote: Most of it is coming from the chassis.
