- Maldonado for a 2017 return
- Rosberg on a stay @ Merc or move to Ferrari
- Perez on a move to Ferrari
- Ricciardo on a move to Ferrari
- Nasr on a move to Renault
- Button on a move to Williams
- Kvyat on a move to Renault
- Grosjean to Ferrari
- Massa to Renault
- Vandoorne to Mclaren
- Gasly to Toro Rosso
- Alonso to Mercedes
- Wehrlein to Mercedes
- Ocon to Renault
- Sirotkin to Renault
- Ricciardo to Mercedes (according to Horner)
So
Mercedes: Hamilton/Rosberg/Alonso/Ricciardo/Wehrlein
Ferrari: Vettel/Raikkonen/Ricciardo/Rosberg/Grosjean/Perez
RedBull: Ricciardo/Verstappen/Sainz/Kvyat
Toro Rosso: Sainz/Kvyat/Gasly
Renault: Magnussen/Palmer/Ocon/Sirotkin/Massa/Kvyat/Nasr
Williams: Bottas/Massa/Button/Kvyat
Mclaren: Button/Alonso/Vandoorne
this is what's 'brewing around' right now, if i remember everything correctly.
in bold i've highlighted my current hopes
which should add:
Williams - Magnussen
Mclaren - Bottas
Toro Rosso - Ocon (thanks to the Renault engine deal)
Sauber - Ericsson & ????
Haas - Grosjean & Guiterrez
Manor - Wehrlein & ????
1. Mercedes are too sensitive for a Lewis/Alonso pairing so scrap that.krisfx wrote:Manoah2u wrote:so let's see which key figures we have for the sillyseason?

Sauber are desperate, which to me puts them in a prime position for Maldodollars
Ricciardo ok, but Lewis? really? it think he is really political and he loves to use the psychological war as Fernando does.CHIUNDA wrote: 6. Lewis/Ricciardo at Mercedes is also a possibility with the same political weighting as the current Lewis/Rosberg pairing. I think it is the kind of relationship Toto can manage since neither of the two drivers are overly political.
Exactly. Don't we remember how Lewis arm twisted Mercedes to give him No.1 status? Don't we remember how he junked the rules of engagement and was adamant that Nico shouldn't get equal status? Don't we remember how he has, time and again, rejected the rules of engagement and kept getting priority pit stops, even when he was trailing, when the fight was between the two in the front?Vasconia wrote:but Lewis? really? it think he is really political and he loves to use the psychological war as Fernando does.
Exactly! I don't remember any of that.GPR-A wrote:Exactly. Don't we remember how Lewis arm twisted Mercedes to give him No.1 status?
