But he once again began his turn miles from the apex.
That's the problem he isn't willing to give other drivers room on the outside. He is leaving it overly late being miles from the apex and then saying 'look I'm turning' whilst pushing other drivers off the track.

I thought it Harsh. Brundle and co all concurred it would be harsh to give a penalty too, but in the end Rosberg has to suck it up and move on.
This just puts the onus back on not overtaking when there is a sniff of a chance, aka not racing.

Some posters comparison to the Hamilton/Rosberg incident in Austria is completely wrong. Rosberg was in the lead there for a start and the intention was clearly to run the other guy out of road.
Here, you can see that Rosberg was making a very reasonable attempt to take the racing line through the corner, being second, and taking the lead car under braking.
On the replay you can see Max trying to turn earlier and then stop his move. At this time Rosberg knew Max was there and as always picked the wrong decision going straight too long. The penalty is to say enough is enough you can't defend on corner like that everytime.
“And suddenly I realized that I was no longer driving the car consciously. I was driving it by a kind of instinct, only I was in a different dimension.”

If he turned early probably he would have blocked the tyres and enter in an uncontralable braking provoking a crash.

It's remarkable how Nico does fall apart like a gluten free cookie under the slightest bit of pressure.

Precisely. It appears to me that, people are used to not seeing any penalty or useless penalty awarded to Nico and thinks, "Because here it wasn't that bad, so he didn't deserved penalty". Once again, he wasn't turning in the corner and was trying to do EXACTLY same as he did in Austria.

And those who think Verstappen was naughty, they are forgetting the two drivers involved, last race and this, are both shitty drivers (Kimi in the last 18 months and less said the better about Nico) in wheel to wheel racing. Simply throwing the car around isn't racing. You need to think, anticipate and then make moves. Neither Kimi nor Nico seems to do that.

Nico went straight on and THEN tried to turn really late. Full lock at that point does not negate the fact that he didn't take the corner properly. He had to be on full lock from that point to even turn at all because by then he was pretty much facing left at a right hand corner.

If he's racing through that corner alone there's NO way he takes that corner like that

Double exactly.
It was an entirely contrived manoeuvre and having an excuse ready makes it look even worse.

The friction that led to the Allison departure is free from its leash. The knives are out.

Rosberg deserved more than a 5 sec penalty. He is lucky. He was intentionally turning late. Exactly the same that happened with Hamilton. Lame...

Come on guys, didn't you ever see a block pass... It wasn't an illegal move and there's barely any similarity between what happened here and in Austria.

I cant rememberthe last time I saw a driver come back from two race wins point defecit to their team mate and turn it into almost a one race points lead.

If Lewis had no issues, he would have what, a 70+ point advantage only half way into the season!?

Thats INSANE.

Last year was a cakewalk for Lewis, but corrected for all the engine gremlins, hes actually more dominant this year.
