Rosberg apparently thought his move was 'awesome'.

So dive bombing a corner with the outcome being that you either don't want or can't turn in anywhere near the apex and thus driving another driver straight off the track is awesome now is it.
Rosberg has clearly lost his mind under the pressure.

This was a pretty underwhelming race....

1. A too easy victory for Hamilton(but well deserved). I was expecting to see Nico leading and a close battle between both. Yet another bad start from Nico(what the hell is going on the last races???) and the race was over.

2. Red Bull was close but not so close, Lewis was managing the gap.

3. Ferrari was nowhere, so they couldnt attack RB. Another battle lost.

4. Only a few good overtakes, nothing more.

5. Another "out of placed" radio comment from Alonso about a team´s mistake. He shouldnt be surprised if no team wants him.

6. The five seconds penalty.... sorry almost 9 seconds was stupid.

If if works, its awesome, if not we see comments like this one. I have seen other drivers(Ricciardo for example) making the same move, miles before the corner and the controversy wasnt that big.

Listening to Max´radio when he was complaining about this was...come on, the last driver in the hole universe who should complain about this.

I expect that the "driving people off track" will also be a hot topic in the post race discussion at Mercedes. This behaviour costs them lots of points.
The same happend after Spa 2014 ....

Rosberg is a decent and a nice guy, but when he is up against drivers of Hamilton Ricciardo Alonso Verstappen caliber, he gets al mushy at the knees.

Why, i do not know, he needs to relax a bit.
I would not be surprised if he does not win anything this year.
Yes he needs to relax a Little bit but the biggest problem if that he has lost two victories making bad starts when he has been doing great starts(much better ones that the ones Lewis was done) during this season. But surprisingly in the last races he is doing a terrible job, why????

I guess full lock is not attempting to make the corner?

You are comparing apples and pears with Austria, too. Rosberg was leading there, and intentionally went wide to Block off Hamilton.
In Germany, he was coming from way back, and kept the wheels straight as you do when you want to brake late and heavily, then turned full lock into the corner.

Schumacher and Senna did this all the time and we applauded it. Rosberg does it, and simply by association of Austria(incorrectly too), he is penalised correctly?

If we look at a master of the art, Alonso, he cuts back for the early exit several times throughout the race to defend positions. So it's not as if the lead car has no options.

Well, Senna was applauded for this not Schumacher who was severely criticized. I think that Senna was the last driver who could do whatever he wanted to do, but now we have Verstappen who seems to have the same "special authorization" to make everyting he wants to do.

Having lost such a huge lead, obviously he has been under tremendous pressure in the last 2 races and he isn't someone who is good at handling such a pressure situation. Now that he is trailing by 19 points, I wouldn't be surprised that he over thinks about it in the break and comes back an even more confused man. Most of upcoming races, Nico haven't won there ever (Spa, Monza, Singapore, Japan, US, Malaysia) and that will make it even harder for him. On the other hand, having over come such a huge deficit and now leading with some handsome points, Lewis is going into the break with absolutely great state of mind.

It wasn't anything like Austria where he didn't even try to turn in; this time you can definitely see he was at full lock. One could argue that he should've turned in earlier, but I think he would've locked up and ended up even wider. I find there is a lot of inconsistency in the penalty system (e.g. Hamilton vs. Rosberg 2015 USA).

And while I am impressed overall with VES, he really needs to stop moving under braking!
Moving under braking (although dangerous) isn't against the wording of the rules, so why should he? - Also, I don't agree on the penalty either, but I think Rosberg should maybe have thought about how far back he was (as it was a long way to lunge!). The trouble is, the moment we get some racing, people find something to complain about/we get a penalty!

I could be wrong but I don't remember Ricciardo going miles past the apex before even attempting to turn.

It was imo entirely justified, Britney needs to learn how to pass without running people off the track or running into them.

I will say however that I don't think the stewards thought that the penalty would have any real bearing on the race.
Normally Rosberg would have just disappeared down the road (as Hamilton seemed to be able to do at will at the front) and he would have just taken the 5 sec and confirmed his second place.

It's really simple: driving straight whilst under full control of the car in order to prevent your competitor from being able to take the corner is not allowed. It wasnt allowed in Austria when it caused a collision and it wasnt allowed here either.

Niki said it post race; the problem is that Rosberg didnt even attempt to turn in but just continued straight on in an attempt to prevent his competitor to make the corner.

Had he attempted to turn in, perhaps locked up and then went straight, it nay have been deemed a racing incident. But the fact is, he consciously attempt to shut out a competitor AGAiN.
I guess full lock is not attempting to make the corner?
Read my post again. I never said he didnt attempt to make the corner. The issue is when he did it. Hint: if he had turned in earlier, less lock would have been necessary. Simple geometry.
If only it were so simple.
The only issue is that Rosberg came from far behind.
Verstappen should have done an 'Alonso' and creamed him on the exit.
The corner is a tight one, and requires plenty of lock anyway. Rosberg was not the only one using full lock through that corner during the race, nature of the beast.

Or we could just have Rosberg follow Verstappen "until he makes a mistake", and we complain F1 is boring!

I cant say the race right now but I remember one(or two) when he was very optimistic trying to overtake, though the result was not bad(no overtake but now collision either).
