Something faster than we have now but still slower than an F1 car. Something that can help with the removal of water.
Something like the RB-Aston or the Merc F1 roadcar?
Apparently problem with ERS during whole race. (Ted's notebook source)nevill3 wrote:I didn't see what happened to Gutierrez, all I saw was him throwing his racing gloves with venom in his garage part way through the race

Seems like he has listened to the criticism the last races. Or does it just seem that way since he didn't have to defend himself today?piast9 wrote:VES behaves like a spoilt kid sometimes but I enjoy watching him drive.
A. Get your head checked. B. How about fifth?AMG.Tzan wrote:Just coincidence that in every race that Hamilton didn't have a problem, he won! But second places is going to do the job for Nicola... [-o<

I dunno. It is a educated guess to how much aquaplaning there will be with the bigger tyres. One school of thought say that bigger tyres are like bigger balloons carrying the same weight, which means less contact pressure, which means more chances for the car to be lifted off the ground. The second theory is that bigger contact patch means that the tyre can still make contact with some ground even when one half is in a river. But anways, the cars may have nearly 50% more downforce so maybe it won't matter.The_table wrote:Wider tires leave more room for more/bigger grooves which should move more water,no?
Iotar. Nothing to say about your boy Nico in the wet now huh? loliotar__ wrote:A. Get your head checked. B. How about fifth?AMG.Tzan wrote:Just coincidence that in every race that Hamilton didn't have a problem, he won! But second places is going to do the job for Nicola... [-o<

He really was flying out there, so close to crashing out quite a few times but didn't. Amazing performance indeed =D>
