I totally agree with you, and if you have seen the pre season interview with the engineer team, it was already clear that we would not see "the" big aero loophole feature, but a simplistic and super efficient car that pushes 2017 regulations to the limit. The non existing fancy bodywork (absolutely contrary to Mercedes) simply screams "low drag" all over the place.
