Why? The majority of the world, including the hosts, aren't Christians (active or not).
Compared to the dumbness of pushing F1 on to pay-to-view globally, an Easter race is a minor mess up.
Actually the majority of the world is Christian, 31.5% followed by Islam on 23.2% and irreligion on 16.3%
All these "experts"...
Er, no, the majority are "not Christian" as I said. For Christians to be the majority they would need to be more than 50% of the total population, which they're not.
"All these experts" indeed.
Say you have a pie with 10 slices, and there's 10 people, if everyone gets a slice, there is an equal distribution. If one greedy bum gets two slices, or 3 in Christian mafia's case, he has more pie than everyone else, hence he has the majority share of the pie relative to others.
Back to the race, unless the cars have more grunt and less drag than last year, I don't see them qualifying terribly faster than last year. There aren't many high speed corners in Bahrain, most are slow to medium speed. The places they stand to gain the most is through 5,6,7, and turn 11, with sight gains everywhere else. Although it seems DRS has a bigger effect this year than last, so they may gain on the pit and back straight.
