Races would be even better if Ferrari manages to fix their starting procedures.
Yes it's role reversal this year isn't it, gone are the good Ferrari starts, Mercedes look like the best off the line so far, they've obviously put a lot of work into this after last seasons troubles.

The Mercedes qually mode combined with a good start is a real advantage, on tracks where its difficult to overtake, and lets face it, there are a lot of them, Mercedes can control the race.

but I am sure that the audicience in countries were people celebrate Ester holidays wil be lower, and I am sure this is something FIA and Liberty don´t like.
Again, compared to the push to global pay-to-view, which will reduce numbers massively, it's a small blip.
Not denying this fact, which is VERY importat. I was just pointing out this about the upcoming race. Please, let me complain a little bit. :D

Actually the majority of the world is Christian, 31.5% followed by Islam on 23.2% and irreligion on 16.3%
All these "experts"...
As I don't follow religion, the fact it's over a bank holiday weekend is probably better for me and I'm sure that's the same for many others. I don't really think it matters either way.
Absolutely, as a Christian I'll be able to Follow FP1 & 2 from the comfort of my lounge without having to take leave and when I overindulge on Sunday celebrating a a Ferrari victory I won't have to worry about the Monday hangover.
I'm also not entirely sure that this forum is the place to voice religious opinions, either.

Indeed, last I checked it was a motorsport / engineering forum with no sections for discussing ppl's imaginary friends or lack thereof. ;)

It was no my intention to begin a religious discussion. :(

I was just pointing out that was strange to have a race during holidays(whatever the reason behind those holidays) as we don´t have races during the summer holidays(if we consider august as the "official" month of the summer holidays, which changes depending on the country).

Back to the topic... I want to the see a similar(but better) battle between Vettel and Lewis and the later had with Rosberg back in time. I can see this time Sebastian doing some serious attemps to overtake Lewis. This would be great to see!

Well, I live in an Orthodox country and since 2010, 5/7 (6/8 including this year), Easter and F1 race have come together. So basically, it will be surprise if those two don't get in line

I don´t know in your country but here people dont give a sh** to the TV when they are on holidays. I guess audiences will be lower than usual, even considering that are actually low because many "fans" don´t want to watch a race due to the Mclaren´s poor performance.

Why? The majority of the world, including the hosts, aren't Christians (active or not).

Compared to the dumbness of pushing F1 on to pay-to-view globally, an Easter race is a minor mess up.

Er, no, the majority are "not Christian" as I said. For Christians to be the majority they would need to be more than 50% of the total population, which they're not.

"All these experts" indeed. #-o
Say you have a pie with 10 slices, and there's 10 people, if everyone gets a slice, there is an equal distribution. If one greedy bum gets two slices, or 3 in Christian mafia's case, he has more pie than everyone else, hence he has the majority share of the pie relative to others.

Back to the race, unless the cars have more grunt and less drag than last year, I don't see them qualifying terribly faster than last year. There aren't many high speed corners in Bahrain, most are slow to medium speed. The places they stand to gain the most is through 5,6,7, and turn 11, with sight gains everywhere else. Although it seems DRS has a bigger effect this year than last, so they may gain on the pit and back straight.

Ferrari preview. It's a bit random, with a soundtrack ranging from kinda cool to unbearable in a weird sort of hard rock-electronic crossover style. :wtf:

The word you're looking for is plurality.
