For the sake of interest please Seb dont botch it on start. If Hamilton by the end of lap 1 has bottas behind him than its race over.
Merc is too strong in first sector....the only chance for Vettel is to keep the second place vs Bottas and make an undercut.
if lewis has a bad start or misses eau rouge like he did in 2013 he should be ok.

2013 start Lewis and Seb P1 and P2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5I-UD-CKcI

Is it possible that MER, given his advantage on single lap on this kind of track, used race oriented setup? 0.25 sec (plus 0.2 from tow) is a very small gap for SPA
Half a second is small? ok.

0.45 sec with MER qualy mode, on such a long track that should also suited for Mercedes car isn't big at all

It doesn't look good for the car... strange..
could there be any correlation to kers harvesting?

Isola mentions La Source as well, suspects of high grip with high torque causing these vibrations... Strange that this didn't occur earlier in the season...

Standing waves in the tyre maybe. Definitely the forced vibrations matched whatever the natural frequency of the tyre carcas was at that point in time. All the teams runs similar tyre pressures these days, so definitely shows why it affected more than one.

What bet that Pirelli force a high minimum pressure tomorrow?
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Well apparently Fernando didn't lift in Pouhon... And even the Honda PU wasn't expecting it!

Alonso is faster then his PU! :D :D :D

Am I the only one thinking this is absolutely unacceptable from Honda? How can this even happen nowadays?

Luckily, seems they won't do anything of the sort...

The tyre is overloaded. Too much power.

Not sure if they'll get to apply team orders this weekend, since Bottas was nowhere near Hamilton, or the reds during FPs and shortened race sims...

I'm surprised by Williams, they did very bad, I was expecting much more
Agree!!!

16th and 18th with a Mercedes PU at Spa? Really?

That´s showing how poor their chassis is...
