2017
Sainz 1:21.371 UltraSoft

2018
Gasly 1:21.318 Soft

I know, calm down. New asphalt haha
Can also probably add at least 0.3 which Sainz will be quicker than Gasly (in my opinion...so don't burn me  )

Are those marks from yesterday or today??
The big number 2 is the give away, Stoff in the car today, Fernando was yesterday.
Well, car may have remained the same and they just changed the number, but ok, different car we'll say.
At this stage of testing I'd be surprised if they had more than one car there - more likely they changed the decals.

Is it me or TR is really bulk at the back in comparison to McL?
Could it mean a change over Honda's philosophy on size zero?

Car is always the same , it's winter testing and both drivers have to alternate on the same car

I've been trying to gather decent top down shots of each of the cars,

and also trying not to cause further debate on size zero philosophy, once could argue McLaren are continuing it and wee see burning marks on the engine cover :P

good point, I just thought we would have seen this yesterday if it happened yesterday. Plus I'd expect Mclaren to have cleaned up that area over night.
Anyway you have a very valid point =D>

Vettel set the fastest time so far with a 1m20.168s on medium tires (also faster than what Ricciardo did yesterday on the same tires).

Set the fastest lap, and them immediately spun at turn 2 bringing out the red flag. Must have been pushing!

Though i cannot understand why McLaren has stopped for lunch with so few laps in the bag.
Either they are too confident of what they see or already have lost cause.....
