First this couple of idiot Mosley´s friends:

"I feel it would be a real mistake given what we are trying to do in terms of refreshing and re-positioning the WRC brand, if we were to instruct Sebastian - or any other WRC driver - to always appear with a photo fit, clean shaven, pristine look. WRC is rugged and real, it isn’t immaculate. That’s a big part of the sport’s appeal which Sebastian is such an important element in defining."

To what this Chandler replied:

"your organization is the one responsible for coverage and media growth of the WRC . If your experience say that his demeanor and appearance is what sells then so be it".

So I must correct my theory!

Is this really the

sort of stuff that keeps our top "selfless FIA volunteers" occupied? If so, it is fairly easy to direct the honourable gentlemen expressing such concern to a direction that will satisfy their whim more immediately than their current pursuit can.

Btw, I remember commenting the Iranian theocracy's attempts to curtail what was billed as a "western hairstyle". Little did I know that Sebastian Loeb's appearance in media would have me revisit those thoughts, because this leaves me in a sort of a lesser moral bind. Originally, I declared that to show solidarity with Tehran's metrosexual youth I'd use a variety of hair gels and such. Now I'm obviously tempted to go "unshaven, scruffy looking and unkempt" (which, thankfully, happens a wee bit more naturally than fashioning a cationic polymer compound-hair composite). Doing both, however, will leave me with a look that will convey neither obscure idea sufficiently well, I'm afraid.

People are affected by many silly ideas. It's not really our personal fault because we're naturally forced to contend with way more of those than we can consciously process. This, IMHO, doesn't mean we couldn't herd those ideas by a certain informed approximation, thus keeping our private and social pastures a little greener, accepting and varied for everyone involved.

For some reason I had missed this topic. I just had a nice laugh reading it .

So much morronic comments over apparences, this Thatti guy obviously has no clue of what WRC is about. It's not a fashion festival lol, who cares the driver isn't well shaved when you see a furious WRC car slashing through the mud...
Though I admit Loeb looks terrible on that pic, must have been shot in a bad day.
