anycase I agree those are great comments with just the neccessary talk and allowing the audience to enjoy the sound

Well dear people, take a look at our former commentator , he did got carried away during races many times (by discussing politics, etc...), but i liked his enthusiastic approach when he screamed about what happened in the race.

James Hunt and Barry Sheene were just the trick because they knew what was going on (sorry Martin )

Dave Croft is a surprise packet. When he first started with F! everyone expected him to be a dud , i think it was Martin Brundle even had skepticism, but IMHO he has been breath of fresh air with smart and surprisingly knowledgeable (in that journo sort of way) well spoken presentation. Probably the only spoiler is journo's quoting of statistics that just dont matter....at all.

Not one bit for me, Murray was far too mistake prone, factually incorrect and biased although respectfully while Hunt was especially biased in a horrible way. This was my view as a non british, non american, native english language speaker.

Croft is garbage but Brundle is by far the best commentator on F1 I have ever experienced. But I only have listened to english language commentary.

Brundle with Varsha or Diffy would be my dream team. I hear good things about Chandok as well.
