You've been saying that for a while .... what makes you say that?
New ideas learned during the season and the lead times involved in manufacturing the parts. Design, CFD and wind tunnel testing, validation then finally on the car. All that stuff takes a couple months. The Barcelona update has been 4 months in the making going on 5. Silverstone is the better part of 2 months away, so I'm guessing there, earliest for the French GP.
But if Barcelona upgrade has been in the oven for nearly 5 months, what makes you think that is not really 2018 car? I reckon NEXT big upgrade could be Silverstone, but first you need to put first iteration of 2018 car on track. Hopefully in Barcelona, after some delay. Can't wait to see that "unseen" front end
