So mirrors were not broken after all... and strakes are still on top of mirror cover piece... who knows if they will ever move them on the top winglet now (if they will not ban them)Morteza wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 15:53https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Dc1xqY8WAAAmN-z.jpg

Without that rod. Winglet above could vibrate heavily so definitely for structural reasonscontinuum16 wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 15:58Is that small rod between the mirror and the winglet above there for legality or structural reasons? Just curious.
From my POV rather the mirror box would vibrate more than that winglet. Anyway, with this rod they both will be more stable and work much more precisely.F1NAC wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 16:12Without that rod. wouldn't surprise me if it was there to work around the (probably) very poor wording of the regulations regarding that areacontinuum16 wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 15:58Is that small rod between the mirror and the winglet above there for legality or structural reasons? Just curious.
yup, maybe with that rod connection the winglet is interpreted as a part of the mirrorRZS10 wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 16:23wouldn't surprise me if it was there to work around the (probably) very poor wording of the regulations regarding that areacontinuum16 wrote: ↑10 May 2018, 15:58Is that small rod between the mirror and the winglet above there for legality or structural reasons?
