Lewis Hamilton controlled the Spanish Grand Prix from start to finish, carving a comfortable gap to the competition early on in the race as a basis for victory. Valtteri Bottas finished second while Max Verstappen completes the podium for Red Bull Racing.

I think we saw the same last year, didn't we? Mercedes struggling to get temp into their tyres at the cool races? Might be wrong. Ferrari seem to be better then at the very, very hot tracks. Didn't Ferrari win in Bahrain by less than 0.7 seconds? That seems pretty competitive, no? It's possible Vettel was controlling the race perfectly but I'm not sure I'd have let Bottas into DRS range or close enough that he might risk a lunge up the inside on the last lap if I had pace in hand.
For sure. However I don't see them taking the pole.
It looks like everyone is having troubles with the wind and the super-softs. Not to mention Ferrari looking 3rd fastest at this point in P2.
I think the gap between Merc and Ferrari is pretty tight in general and they've shown an excellent ability to dial their car in when most needed. I'd be very surprised if Ferrari aren't close to Pole tomorrow.
