Scuderia Ferrari SF71H

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Still using the updated rear upper wishbone which was suspected to cause the tyre wear issues in Spain.

Vettel's car was fitted with the old version ahead of opening practice in Monaco
Interesting, so they're still not happy with it. Maybe someone could explain why this change seems to have an influence on the tyres in general. I thought it was only an aero thing.

It might not be the suspension change at all, it could just be different tracks, different conditions and different tires.

Both Kimi and Seb are using the new rear upper wishbone design in FP1.

Yes. It is the "new" suspension from Barcelona.

Ferrari had been trialing the old suspension as well in Barcelona testing, and some were curious whether Ferrari were going to commit to the new arrangement here in Monaco.

I find it interesting that on the Ferrari the outside slot is longer while Mclaren has the opposite.

And as usual AMUS starts another rumor...... None of his accusations have turned out to be true.... If you cant beat them on pure pace maybe nitpicking them to death will do the trick.....how pathetic.
Im willing to bet this originated with Mercedes and not with red bull...Horner is more prone to do his finger pointing in public...Mercedes on the other hand hides behind AMUS to do their finger pointing.
