Verstappen stayed within 0.5 sec behind a car, so the aero is not the problem here, it was all tyres.
What do you expect with 100kg more than qualy. You can have it both ways. If you want sticky tires you are going to suffer in the race. The one at fault is the FIA and their rules.
FIA did not make any tyre rule
Pirelli needs to bring tyres that are durable enough to abuse of racing. Of the six tyres in there range none would stand up to close racing for more than 10% of the race
With fuel load the cars can only be 3 to 4 seconds off qualifying pace, rest is due to poor durability of tyres
