Scuderia Ferrari SF71H

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Looks like the area around the rear suspension has had a few tweeks. The bodywork is delfinately different and it looks like the wishbones may be slightly different, not sure what the lump is.
I`m not sure as it could be the light but it looks like there`s more of a rounded top to the rear bodywork [a bit like Merc].

The camera angle, camera, and photographer are definitely different. Oh, and at least one new tire.

I think they are both the same in each picture.

Looks like a few more slots in the piece right below/behind the lower wishbone.

Interesting that they chose to bring this update to this track, as this adds some drag to barge board area. Most be worth it in other ways, getting more floor downforce and allowing the rear wing to take a shallower angle of attack.

And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Quite a big upgrade I would say. There are more changed parts than marked with the arrows btw.

There's another change in this new BB set:

Definitely a big update, but I think we could see further updates to floor as well, probably in leading edge zone.

Ferrari with a very nice bargeboard upgrade, the endplate region seems to be inspired by their diffuser. Also re-profiled midwing, circled in red.
