Lewis lost 7 tenths in the last sector but was only 3 tenths off top spot in Q2.

McLaren lacking the mechanical grip for this circuit. Too draggy and not great out of the heavy braking zones. Work to do.

Wow!!! Seems like McLaren has to fire their whole team, except Alonso! A Sauber and A Toro Rosso ahead. Things can't get worse than this.

Seb would have been 1 in q2. Crazy on-board vid while he's going 300+ and others left and right just cruising...

Torro rosso may be benefiting more from the chassis than the engine itself. But its good the engine is allowing more aero exploitation.
For Sure!!

Yes he looks like the favorite for pole. I am sure when Merc turns it up, the S3 deficit will disappear.

Vandoorne is 0.009s off Alonso his pace. Seems good enough for me to stay aswell.

Agree on the other part to ditch the team.

Kimi unusually quick at this circuit this weekend. Interesting battle between the top 6 tomorrow with the Red Bulls on alternate tyres.

McLaren just go from bad to worse. If ever proof were needed that the Honda wasn't as bad as they kept making out it this race. Out qualified by Torro Rosso again on a power circuit!

The car is bad. The design team are bad. Boullier is bad. In fact McLaren's downturn coincides with Boullier's hiring by the team. How this man is still in a job is beyond me.

Max on faster tyres, clean side of the grid, can go three abreast into the first corner...could be fun!
