The way they're violating track limits is ridiculous. Kimi basically changed the track at the last corner.

That's easily close to a million Dollars worth of Damage Grosjean did then, and in P1 too, not even Q1 yet.
The clock has to be ticking for him.
how in the world do people come up with such numbers?
But I do agree, I think he certainly has to score about as much as Magnussen to have a chance for a cockpit next season. But who would be available (except for Leclerc, should Ferrari decide to want him not in the Ferrari yet)?
I recall an article from a year or 3 ago that put a chassis at 900k$. Maybe they are less expensive now?
I read the same stuff, but it doesn't make much sense in my opinion.
This chassis at its EOL and only used for an upcoming test. Additionally they don't pay per part. They have a certain production capacity anyway and the running cost won't change much if they use 90% or 95% of its capacity. The price for the aerograde carbon fibre is about 100USD/kg, so maybe 100 000 USD per monocoque in materials.
What I can imagine, someone would buy the monocoque from Dallara they would charge that much, but for most F1 teams there won't be such a high cost associated to it.

Ferrari: might go for a quick lap now...

Sky: quick! Cut to footage of a Mercedes backing into the garage on dolly wheels.

Yeah... unless one of their mechanics slip on the immaculate floors, it's kind of boring to show the garage. Sky for ya...
Always find the gap then use it.

Omg Sky “insight” showing the Ferrari upgraded floor... while they physically show the old floor.

Stuff like this annoys me. Communicating to the average idiot only alienates the actual fans

The Williams seems to have no suspension movement. It looks like a brick.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

It's close though, Vettel was on softs and Lewis was on mediums.

Both drivers set their fastest lap times on the soft...

Race pace for merc looks out of reach - 7 tenths between them and Ferrari according to Sky

According to Autosport Lewis was on mediums, unless he made a quick stop and they completely missed it.
