RIC already pitted with RBR expecting a Raikkonen stop, this means they expected the Ferrari tyres to go
I can't disagree more, to me it seems we've had a lot more "poor driving" incidents then before, and the season isn't even half over yet.
This was not 'bumper cars and randomness' This was (probably) the best drivers in the world today showing off their cars and skills.

I think this race was probably Mercedes 1-2 then if no SC. (assuming RAI stayed behind HAM and didn't crash into him)
Me too. We're having a discussion about tire strategy here, but we're drowned out by fan-yells.Poleman wrote: ↑08 Jul 2018, 17:19I really hate incompetent drivers that obviously try to be heros with DRS in turn 1 aka Eriksson and poor midfield driving a la Grosjean that bring out random and useless safety cars.In my opinion i would rather see Vettel win from the lead and at least get a chance to see the strategy unfold and drivers try to go flat out and close gaps...Fake drama with SC, meh...![]()
So no mistakes allowed? I'm going to find AI racing even more boring in the future. If you look at this season, then you will noticed that other drivers (Vettel, Raikkonen, and Bottas) have upped their game.dans79 wrote:I can't disagree more, to me it seems we've had a lot more "poor driving" incidents then before, and the season isn't even half over yet.
A programmed drive anyway. Yes, he did his job, bur Kimi and Lewis did a better job
Running into each other like this doesn't make them look that great. And to be clear I'm not talking about Kimi and Lewis.
IMO, F1 is going the same way as NASCAR did back in the 90's, dumbing down for the lowest brow members of society. And that's the exact reason why I stopped watching it.
