I wonder if Mercedes will put Softs on their car for the starts tomorrow. With a 1-2, they may be able to block the Ferraris, even if they start on the USs.

I strongly believe, it's about who comes ahead after first pit stop. So, no points for running longer on this track on the first stint. Make a stop as soon as there is a possibility, bolt the hard(est) tire possible for the car and go all the way to the end. Even if someone behind makes a stop after three fourth of the distance and then bolt the US, still won't be able to overtake and beat.

You caught Hamilton's comment about working together to keep the red boys behind. Hopefully we'll have a battle till the end, Ferrari is head and shoulders the better car for now and will be in tomorrow's conditions.

Mercedes seemed to be the best car in those conditions, that's true. Hamilton basically had one opponent to beat and it was his team mate.

Ferrari was not slower. Vettel was slower. Kimi could have been in pole but he made a mistake on fresh tires. He was on the same pace as the Merc on the first set of tires.
