All this Bottas talk is getting in the way of savoring the first back to back driver win of the season. Ferrari with far and away the fastest car and still it's not enough. Vettel better turn it on after the summer break. Spa and Monza thankfully coming up.

Yeah, Vettel has the fastest and most reliable car and a proper supporting team mate. He must be miles out in front.

Haha Verstappen roasted Renault on German TV.
yes to bad he doesnt mention the time when he was in karting and redbull didnt give a --- about kers.
Remember that time ? Opting to run with less kers energy but a better package ...
Sounds like mclaren and some other manufacturer

Poor choice of words there, Toto.
Gives the impression that Ham won because of Bottas, whereas reality is far from that.

But he has no luck whatsoever (while be and Ferrari often make mistakes, too.)

Something that I notice; I never saw Bottas applying DRS on TV, while he had numerous backmarkers right in front of him.
Either the DRS wasn't working -which I think we would be aware of now- or he was just over 1sec every time.

It looks like Kimi set the rules of engagement @ Silverstone, and after that race Bottas was apparently told to give no quarters if it ever came down to a wheel to wheel with Vettel. It was something very uncharacteristic for Bottas to do. With those tires, he normally wouldn't have pushed his luck that far imho.
"Uncharacteristic" you say?
Seriously?

No luck? Hist Left Rear should have gone pop after the move he pulled on Bottas. And speaking of team mistakes, did you already forget what Mercedes did in Australia to start the year off? You can't always expect to come out on the good side of the coin toss can you?

I dont think so. Lucky meter is kind of equal between the two of them. Also, so far, Lewis made less mistakes.

It was really a shame Ferrari mechanics made mistake. If Vettel had come out in front of Bottas, we would have an epic battle between Hamilton and Vettel for the win.
The trouble is we dont know how much pace Lewis or Seb had. So it may not have been the case. Even if Vettel caught Lewis , Seb wouldn't have passed. Seb only passed Bottas because his tyres were so worn. Lewis had 10 less laps on his tyres. So Lewis would never have had the tyre problems that bot had.
Ferrari got greedy when Vettel was still gaping Hamilton on old tires, i started to wonder "could it be?" myself.
But they should've called it off as soon as Vettel's pace dropped, put him on mediums infront of Bottas, the end.

Doesn't help that they couldn't do a pit stop today.

There has been 12 races so far:
Merc had the advantage in 5 of them. Australia, Spain, Austria, France and Britain.
RBR was best at Monaco.
Ferrari at Bahrain, China, Azerbaijan, Canada, Germany and Hungary.

So Merc spec 3 for Spa? Monza? Without it I doubt they can match Ferrari.

Vettel needs a few wins from Spa, Monza and Singapore! Will be important stretch for Vettel to narrow the gap
