Well that was an absolute snoozefest.

Open up PU testing FIA, or else we have this two tier F1 indefinitely.

Still all to play for because you cant assume clean weekends in all the remaining races.
Well, yes. But the dynamics are so strong, even with a cheeky weekend or two, Vettel is the favourite.

Well done to Vettel. Very dominant. One of the most boring races of the year though.

I had this argument with my dad, all those years.
He is overrated, end of story. Not that he is a bad driver, no way, but still, your average fella.

What happens if FI (RP) gets more points than what they had before the summer break? Who gets those lost prize money next year?
Always find the gap then use it.

I wonder what ‘little tricks’ Hamilton was talking about.

Maybe that Vettel was really hard and early on the brakes into bus stop on the restart?

Its Ferrari's ability to deploy electricity longer than Merc thinks is legal. However with so many loopholes in the rules, it is very very hard to have an illegal car, because smart people will always find a way through.

That race was utter domination by Ferrari, they made the Merc look like a plaything.

Incredibly enough hamilton is consitently faster than vet by a tenth or two in S1 and vettel holding up with him in S2. complete opposite of everything we've seen so far with ferrari dominating S1 and struggling in S2.
I bet Hamilton ran very rich in stint 1, which only makes the performance gap worst.

I don't think that's anything more than a 'political' statement. The alleged battery 'tricks' have already been cleared by the FIA.

Not sure what Mercedes were expecting with that big rear wing, fast in a sector you cant overtake/follow but slow in the two where you can. Maybe they should've ran a skinny rear wing like Ferrari but its all hindsight.
